Ladies’ Luncheon

There will be no Ladies’ Luncheon in August for summer vacation.  We will return in September.

Thursdays at 6:30. Rules: The game is played with four balls for each team plus a target ball called the pallina. The balls are about the size of a soft ball and the pallina is considerably smaller. The composition of the balls is similar to bowling balls.

The way the game is played is that the 1st player of team A rolls the pallina  which must go past mid court and then rolls his/her ball to get close to the pallina. Then the 1st player from team B rolls his/her ball to remove the other ball or to get closer to the pallina. The balls must be rolled underhanded. The frame continues until all eight balls are rolled and the team’s ball or balls that are closer to the pallina gets the point or points. One ball closer is one point, two balls closer is two points, etc. The process is repeated in the succeeded  frames until a score of twelve (12) is achieved by the winning team.

Games are open to all residents. You don’t have to be good at the game to enjoy playing.
